Core of the Apple Part 2 by NaterRang Core of the Apple Part 2 by NaterRang
Part 1: [link]
Part 3: [link]

It's finally here! The next part of the Core of the Apple comic!

I'm too tired to write much right now. XP

I shortened the parts so that I will be able to get them out in a more timely manner.

Look for part three coming soon!

This... I can't even begin with this comic. It was very heartfelt and brought a tear to my eye. The final panel was especially strong. I read Part I, and found it to be an interesting spin on the "Apple family orphan" fanon. As I had read many fics and seen many comics that deal with the issue, none have ever much gone into, or sometimes even acknowledge at all , poor Applebloom's feelings. In addition, the artwork is beautifully done, but still reflects the air of depression. This was quite a gem and I look forward to seeing more of this comic. Keep up the good work!

Feel nothing? Applejack, that is not good thinking, sometimes you have to let it out... :/

What? How do you force yourself to feel nothing? Razor blades? Painkillers? Alcohol? Does she have her own little pot farm?

She forces herself to not think about it, to not care, to not let her emotions get the better of her. Some real-live people are very good at hiding their true emotions; they don a pretty convincing mask.

Very true, but still, what she did was a bit different.

What she did felt unrealistic to me. The whole "lashing out" (not quite seen on this episode) is quite abstract; I've never seen it done anywhere but in Hollywood movies.
